Anechoic Chamber

Lehman Chambers was contracted to serve as the prime contractor to build a Radome Test Range for the Air Logistics Center at Robins Air Force Base. The project consisted of a self-supporting 40'W x 75'L x 30'H shielded anechoic chamber with a 10'W x 30'L x 9'H control room. A 72'W x 79'L x 38'H host building was constructed to house the anechoic chamber and control room. The host building included a staging area, fixture storage room, restroom and mechanical/electrical room. Lehman Chambers was also responsible for the installation of the compact range equipment as well as providing a material handling system for mounting the radomes.
